Holiday Events in Marina del Rey

The holiday season in Marina del Rey will offer locals and visitors a festive atmosphere including the annual Marina Lights at Burton Chace Park and the annual New Year's Eve fireworks show. This year, the family-friendly GLOW party returns to Burton Chace Park on New Year's Eve. And of course, the beloved Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade will bring joy to the waterfront. The public is invited to walk, bike or paddle throughout the harbor to see the boats decorated in holiday lights. Take a stroll and shop throughout Fisherman's Village, Boardwalk Shops, Waterside Shops and nightly twinkling holiday lights throughout December.

  • ANNUAL HOLIDAY BOAT PARADE

    SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2022 at 6 p.m.

    Watch the 60th annual Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade. Popular viewing spots include Fisherman’s Village, Burton Chace Park, or anywhere along the South Jetty. Catch a brief fireworks display at 5:55 p.m. before the parade begins. Enjoy musical entertainment from carolers, food truck fare and photo opportunities from 4-8 p.m. at Burton Chace Park.     Head to Fisherman’s Village or anywhere near the South Jetty to enjoy the annual fireworks display and countdown to the New Year with fireworks at 8:59 p.m. and again at 11:59 p.m. Plus, the family-friendly Glow Party returns to Burton Chace Park, 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. Free admission.

  • FREE OUTDOOR MOVIES AT JAMAICA BAY INN

    Every Sunday at dusk

    Jamaica Bay Inn presents a free outdoor movie series every Sunday with seating at 7 p.m. and movie starting at dusk. Warm drinks, snacks and treats are available for purchase. Bring low chairs, blankets and pillows. Seating is first come, first served. Move line-up below:

    Holiday shopping can easily be done in L.A.’s Marina with outdoor plazas such as Waterside Shops, Villa Marina Marketplace, Fisherman’s Village or the Saturday Farmers Market at Parking Lot #11 near Marina “Mother’s” Beach.

  • FREE CONCERTS AT FISHERMAN'S VILLAGE

    Throughout weekends in December, 1-4 p.m.

    The free outdoor concerts at Fisherman’s Village is back during the month of December on select days from 1 to 4 p.m. featuring live entertainment from performers playing R&B, Jazz, Latin, Pop and Blues (weather permitting) at the plaza. Click here to see the full lineup.

Location

Marina del Rey is located on the Los Angeles coast, 4 miles north of LAX. From Interstate 405, connect to westbound Highway 90, which terminates in Marina del Rey. Make a left onto Mindanao Way and follow it to the end at Burton Chace Park. 13650 Mindanao Way.

Public Parking Lots
